Inspiration Behind the Tree of Prophets Project

During the covid-19 pandemic, I found myself confined to my home, which made that period quite challenging. To make the most of my time, I began listening to video lectures and audio about the lives of the Prophets. However, I encountered some difficulties due to my dyslexia, which affected my ability to thoroughly understand and retain the information from these sources alone

As a visual learner, I often felt frustrated by the lack of clear and comprehensive visual resources online, especially concerning the lineage of the Prophets and their connections to one another.

Despite facing various obstacles, I was determined to deepen my knowledge and understanding. I researched and listened to reliable and trustworthy Islamic lectures available online that outlined the lives, qualities, and significant events associated with each Prophet.

To help me better process and remember the information, I organised my notes in a structured, point-by-point format, highlighting the key events in each Prophet’s life. Additionally, I created an illustrated chart that visually presents the lineage of the Prophets and demonstrates how they are interconnected throughout history.

This project took over two years to complete. With the help and permission of Allahﷻ, the artwork is now displayed in various locations, including homes, mosques, community centres, offices, schools, and colleges. It serves as a meaningful and lasting reminder of the Prophets and their message, providing an excellent reference to return to time and again. Alhamdulillah!

Our Purpose

Every Muslim has a personal responsibility to seek knowledge about the life and history of our beloved Prophets and to make an effort to share this knowledge with their family and friends. This responsibility is not limited to scholars or teachers, it belongs to all of us.

Allahﷻ sent every Prophet with a divine message, calling people to worship Him alone and guiding them toward truth, justice, and righteousness. Allahﷻ chose these Prophets to show humanity the right path through their words, actions, and unwavering faith.

Their stories, as mentioned in the Qur’an, are not merely historical events; rather, they are powerful lessons designed to teach us how to live with sincerity, patience, trust in Allahﷻ, and moral strength. It’s crucial to remember these stories, take time to reflect on their meanings, and apply their lessons in our daily lives. 

We must also do our part to pass this knowledge on to our children and future generations, so that the message of truth and the legacy of our Prophets may continue to shine, Insha’Allah.

There are many verses that Allahﷻ reveals in the Holy Quran; below are just a few.

“And, indeed, We have sent Messengers before you (O Muhammad), of some of them, we have related to you their story, and of some, we have not.”
[Chapter 40, verse 278]

The Messenger has believed in what was revealed to him from his Lord, and [so have] the believers. All of them have believed in Allah and His angels and His books and His messengers, saying, “We make no distinction between any of His messengers.” And they say, “We hear, and we obey. We seek Your forgiveness, our Lord, and to You is the final destination.”
[Chapter 2, verse 285]

These prophets were rightly guided by Allahﷻ, so follow their guidance. Say, “I ask no reward of you for this Quran, it is a reminder to the whole world.”
[Chapter 6, verse 90]

We are currently revitalising the Tree of Prophets and transforming it into a cutting-edge, gamified online educational platform. This platform is designed to become an integral part of the curriculum for Islamic schools, colleges, scriptures and home schooling across Australia and Worldwide, Insha’Allah
